To develop better products
We continue to make improvements by repeatedly testing and testing hypotheses.

Research and Development Division
MM
TANKEN SEAL SEIKO develops and produces carbon in-house, and our biggest appeal is that we are involved in the entire manufacturing process, from materials to products. The research and development department that I belong to is working on the development of Air Bearing Roll® (abbreviated as ABR), which is one of the porous carbon products.
ABR is a non-contact transport roll that takes advantage of the characteristics of carbon porous material, and is used for roll-to-roll production.*It is used in a variety of processes, and is used for floating transport of film devices such as electrodes for liquid crystal displays.

*A production method in which a rolled film is conveyed continuously through processes such as coating and heat treatment, and finally rolled up into a roll.
Cultivate creativity to enhance development ability
An important task for the development department is to understand the limits of a product's performance in order to be able to contribute to the customer's production without any problems once it is on the market. In order to develop better products, we repeatedly make hypotheses and tests to build theories. Through this process, we collaborate with universities that have specialized research results and technology to develop products and solve problems.

Also, by participating in exhibitions where you can interact with other companies, you can understand the differences between your company's products and services. By accumulating knowledge and broadening our horizons, we foster the ability to think creatively, which is important for development.
The origin of manufacturing is knowing the “site”
When it comes to testing a hypothesis, a prototype is required. In order to produce a prototype that can be fully verified, we must know how things are manufactured. Therefore, when necessary, we work with workers on-site to get a feel for the flow and difficulties of the work, and to identify areas for improvement.
In this way, we work in cooperation with on-site workers on a daily basis.
Following in the footsteps of seniors
When I first joined the company, I was nervous because there were so many things I didn't understand. Thanks to my caring seniors who noticed this, I was able to deepen our communication. The reason I am able to work together with related departments now is because of this corporate culture where we consider each other and are motivated to work.

At the end of the year, a comfort party is held in each department, where the students work together with their seniors to help them through the year and gain energy toward their next goals. From now on, the number of juniors will increase, so I want to do my best to be able to support them when they are needed.

MESSAGE
“A picture is worth a thousand words” and be proactive about everything.
I don't know what kind of job is suitable for me, and even if there is a company I'm interested in, I can't get a job offer. I was worried about a lot of things, but I remember thinking that ``living in the city is the capital,'' and determined to do the best I could no matter where I ended up, and worked hard in my job search.

Now, in my 10th year as a working adult, I feel that I am able to do my job thanks to the blessings of my company and the people around me. He listens to me and thinks with me about any questions I have, not only about work, but also about any questions or concerns I have, which helps me come up with the answers I need. I can't express it in words, so I would be happy if you could actively take advantage of internships and see TANKEN SEAL SEIKO for yourself. We hope that we will be able to connect with everyone who visits our website.
