A workplace culture of mutual support,
We will work together to solve your problems.

Building maintenance sales department
TA
The mechanical seals manufactured by our company are delivered not only to factories. They are used in the equipment of familiar buildings such as condominiums, hotels, offices, and hospitals, supporting the safety and security of daily life. The Building Maintenance Sales Department was established as a division that primarily handles comprehensive maintenance for these customers.
I am mainly in charge of mechanical equipment located in the basements of high-rise buildings in the city center. We visit the customer's site to check the condition of the machine and propose improvements to the optimal mechanical seal based on operating conditions and damage. When we receive a request, we create an estimate, arrange parts procurement, schedule, etc. I will be on-site and supervise on the day of the event. Once the project is completed, it is the sales person's responsibility to create a report and communicate the situation to the customer.
Turning “I’m having trouble” from customers into “Thank you”
In the past, we received an urgent inquiry from someone who said, "I'm having trouble with a machine that's not working properly." When they requested maintenance from the manufacturer, it said it would take 6 months. However, the customer said that the loss be severe and requested that something be done within 2 weeks.

The cause was a mechanical seal made by another company. Since it is a special product, there is no substitute, and additional parts must also be manufactured. Therefore, the information was immediately shared within the company, and sales, technology, and manufacturing worked together to implement the quickest and best recovery response. It only took 1 week, and I was happy to hear the customer's appreciation.
His strength is his light footwork that allows him to cross boundaries.
We could have declined because the machine was not maintained by us, but Tanken's mission is to support our customers' "Safety continuous operation." We were able to overcome this problem only because we shared the desire to find a solution somehow and cooperated with each other. One of TANKEN SEAL SEIKO's greatest strengths is its light footwork, which allows it to work as a team across departmental boundaries even when faced with difficult challenges.

Through my involvement in building maintenance, a customer introduced me to the factory's machinery and equipment. This is a first for the building maintenance department at a factory that our company has been working on for many years. The company has a policy of ``shifting from selling things to selling things,'' and we are eager to take on new challenges.
TANKEN SEAL SEIKO has a spirit of mutual aid.
Building maintenance mainly involves work performed on-site. There are many cases where unexpected problems occur, but if you consult within the company, someone will be able to support you. TANKEN SEAL SEIKO has this spirit of mutual help.

Even though I'm in sales, I often have to ask for technical knowledge from customers, so I have to learn every day, but there are many people at the company who look after me, so I feel free to ask them any questions. Even in private, the employees often go out with each other, and the atmosphere is very friendly.

MESSAGE
Even if you have a liberal arts background, you can become a full-fledged engineer.
I came from a liberal arts background and joined the company as a new graduate, so I had virtually no knowledge of mechanical seals. My seniors taught me everything from beginning to end, and now I know enough about machines to call myself an engineer. Unlike mechanical seal sales, where you acquire specialized knowledge, the appeal of building maintenance sales is that you can acquire comprehensive knowledge from machinery to on-site management.

We have a corporate culture that allows motivated people to gain a variety of experiences, and I am growing myself by gaining various experiences, including working in a local area. Buildings can be found all over the country, and the market is expanding from the metropolitan area to cities across the country. If you want to get everyone involved and take on new challenges, why not join us!
