The sales management department's job is to listen to various inquiries and disseminate them within the company to make it easier for sales staff to carry out their activities. As a point of contact for managing and supporting sales activities, we act as a conduit, requesting that the procurement department get the goods quickly in order to meet the delivery date of the order. We often receive requests for same-day shipping, so we work together to quickly respond.
In addition, my work is diverse, including billing, sales operations, and the creation of KPIs that summarize the monthly sales order amount.

Good work-life balance and comfortable working environment

I took maternity and childcare leave and am currently working while balancing family life. I worked reduced hours for a year or two after returning to work, but I was often called in by the nursery school because my child had a fever. I would like to express my gratitude for the support of my seniors and superiors who willingly send me off each time, allowing me to finish my work within working hours and maintain a work-life balance with my family.

Expand your scope of work and increase motivation

If you have been working for many years, you may find yourself stuck in a rut and find it difficult to maintain your motivation. In my case, when this happens, I tell my boss, ``This is the type of work I want to do!'' and take on new challenges, such as compiling numbers or placing orders, which increases my sense of fulfillment. The number of telephone and email inquiries from overseas is increasing every day, and I am slowly taking on the challenge while consulting with my boss.

Increased number of female employees, creating a friendly and fun atmosphere

The Sales Management Department has a small number of people, and we allocate the days of the week to ensure that work always runs smoothly, and we work together to help each other. Through my 20 years of work here, I can tell you that when you are in trouble, the people at Tanken listen to you sympathetically, regardless of departmental boundaries, and work with you to solve the problem. Even when I have to do difficult or unfamiliar work, they push me and support me, so I can continue to work with peace of mind, which may be the reason why I am ``dedicated to Tanken.''

The number of female employees has increased significantly since I joined the company! Regardless of age, everyone is friendly and enjoys working together.

When I tried my first 10km marathon, I felt so good running in the middle of nature, and I felt such a great sense of accomplishment.
