A lubricating film is indispensable on the sliding surface to operate the mechanical seal, and the double mechanical seal method has been widely adopted when sealing the gas zone like the upper Agitator.However, it has been pointed out that the use of a sealing liquid causes a decrease in product purity due to a slight leaked liquid, and adverse effects such as installation and management of accessory equipment, and the need for a Dry Seal that does not use a sealing liquid is increasing.The various Dry Seals developed by our company contribute to the stability of the quality of the manufacturing process by the user, the simplification of attached equipment, and the reduction of maintenance.

Contamination prevention of products

Since no sealing liquid is used, contamination can be prevented without mixing the sealing liquid into the product.It also significantly reduces contamination of wear debris found when using gland packing.Especially in the fields of pharmaceuticals and foods, we have many achievements as PL law measures and germ prevention measures.

Reduction of equipment cost

There is no need for accessory equipment such as a circulation device or seal pot required to supply the seal liquid, which makes it possible to reduce equipment costs.

Reduced maintenance

There is no need for maintenance work such as retightening the gland packing and management of the sealing liquid, greatly reducing the burden of daily maintenance.

Correspondence to positive pressure and negative pressure conditions

Demonstrates sufficient sealing performance from high vacuum to positive pressure limit.

Simple structure

Dry Seal usage example

Bellows type

It is a standard type Dry Seal that is used in a wide range of fields by using a combination of PTFE with a filler with excellent corrosion resistance and a sliding material of hard ceramic.A wide range of corrosion resistance is achieved with a design that does not use metal as the gas contact material.

O-ring type

A Dry Seal that uses the same Sliding material combination as the bellows type and uses a synthetic rubber O-ring for the packing.
There are two types, a general-purpose type and a high-temperature type. The high-temperature type can be used up to 2 ° C without cooling due to the structure that supports the thermal expansion of the sliding material due to heat generation.

CM type

We applied our Cartridge Mechanical Seal to dry specifications. It features the compactness of the Cartridge Mechanical Seal.

High temperature use type

The mechanical seal is cooled by gas purging and installing a jacket, making it possible to handle high temperatures.

PG type

It is a "fine contact type Dry Seal" that enables high peripheral speed support between Silicon Carbides, which are hard materials, by purging gas between the sliding surfaces.Furthermore, by equipping the diaphragm, the driven packing is prevented from being clogged with powder, eliminating the concern of malfunction.
