By arranging the "Safety Barrier Seal" on the backup seal on the atmosphere side, the safety measures and environmental measures of the Mechanical seal can be realized at a lower cost than the reservoir tank type tandem seal.In addition, even if a temporary leak occurs when the vertical LPG pump is started, it can be started quickly without stopping.

Furthermore, the Safety Barrier Seal is not only used as a tandem seal, but also as a main dry seal for stirrers, etc. because it hardly leaks in the low pressure region. It supports high peripheral speed conditions that were possible.

Safety Barrier Seal usage example

Instead of the conventional tandem seal using the reservoir tank method, the Safety Barrier Seal, which can be operated dry, limits leakage to the atmosphere and eliminates the need to install an expensive reservoir tank.It is used as a simple tandem seal.
